Keeping you safe
We have continued to remain open throughout what has been a life changing time for everyone. Our priority was to ensure everyone’s safety, yet at the same time ensure that the wellbeing of our children was not compromised.
We are extremely grateful that we have had no cases of Covid in nursery, despite our number of children and staff increasing in the past few months. Following thorough risk assessments, we completely changed how we operated our day, and have continued to change our practices as developments have been made regarding the virus.
Our parents have been extremely supportive and have given us amazing feedback regarding how their children have continued to enjoy coming to nursery.
Goodbye class of 2020
Despite facing really challenging times, we have tried to make the best of the current situation, and give our children, staff and families’ special memories.
Due to being unable to have our infamous ‘production’ at our local leisure centre, the pre-school room staff videod the children and themselves taking part in a Makaton performance of, ‘This is Me’ from The Greatest Showman.
Welcoming children and families – new and old
It has been the best feeling to see everyone starting to return to nursery, and has been so encouraging to see new children and families join us. We are enjoying getting back into our usual stride, and hearing the active ‘hum’ of nursery life.
